Free Ebooks Equal Free Money
Do you know the secret to making money with affiliate marketing?
Many smart affiliate marketers earn revenue by creating free special reports (or ebooks) that discuss a specific topic. These guides contain links to high-paying affiliate products. So whenever someone reads a free ebook and purchases product from an affiliate link, the marketer earns a sales commission.
But what if you don’t know how to find a topic for your free ebook?
If this is the case, here is a tutorial that will help you get started with your free money-making ebook.
As you probably know, affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to generate revenue from an Internet business. Unfortunately, it is hard to get people to purchase from an affiliate link. Many times, they go to your website and check out your information. Then most of them leave without purchasing products through an affiliate link.
The problem is you haven’t had time to explain to them the value of the products you are recommending.
The solution is you can create a guide that discusses a hot topic related to your product. In this report, you discuss the topic and then provide a solution to the major problem that that is experienced by your readers. Obviously the affiliate product will be the solution to their problems.
So how do you write one of these special reports?
In truth, it is very easy to write a 5-15 page special report that is in high demand by readers, while having a potential for a high affiliate income.
The first step is to look for a topic.
One of the best ways to discover a good topic is to explore forums that cater to your niche or product. Then read up on topics that people have posted. Many people will post comments on forums looking for answers to particular problems. All you need to do is find a topic where you can easily create at least five pages of content.
The next step is to find a related affiliate product.
Most of the time, somebody has already created a product that provides a solution to the problem that people are having. All you have to do is look for this product and become an affiliate. The best part is most affiliate programs have marketing material which you can use to help create your content.
After looking at the forum and support material, you can easily create your special report.
In this free ebook, you will discuss the topic in general terms. You will talk about the problem and ways they can find the solution. Your content will focus on the pain they are experiencing from this problem. Then mention the solution to their problem which is your affiliate product. In your special report, you want to provide useful information while gently persuading the reader to check out your affiliate link.
The key is to talk about the benefits of using the product, without being too pushy or salesy. Most affiliate products have a sales page, so you can leave the convincing to the referral site. As long as you do a good job pre-selling your readers on that particular product, they will arrive at the site ready to buy.
Free ebooks or special reports are a great way to earn long-term affiliate income because they can be easily distributed and provide quality value to the reader. As long as you focus on creating good content for your reader, you will see your affiliate revenue increase.

Ebook Power
An ebook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business, while educating people with the knowledge you already posses as a business owner of a specific product or service. An ebook is the easiest way to reach any large niche audience of any type. Ebooks will not only promote your business, but will establish you as an expert in your field.
The largest reason people read books is to answer some type of question, or questions about a specific topic, or niche. You as the author are now in a position to establish yourself as an expert about your topic or niche. Your readers diligently read to answer their questions, success means delivering solid content about your topic or niche to your readers. Don’t guess about how much information to write into your book just over deliver the content to your readers. You will develop a reputation for writing books with solid content that is a value at any price. But, where to start as a writer? As a novice writer with an overflowing base of knowledge, short books are a great way to get your feet wet!
Write a short book first.
If you have a topic or information you want to sell, than just write a small ebook to start out with. Write 10 to 20 pages of your book and than ad some graphics. If your book is packed with good content, people will not mind paying 20 bucks for a 20 page book; quality. Once you have your feet wet with a short book, than plan your next book. You can than plan and organize your next book, after all, you have gained a wealth of experience from writing your small book.
Create Volumes Of Information
One effective tactic is to write a series of books, and label them as volumes, and promote as Volume One, Volume Two, etc. . Create a buzz about your next volume in the current volume you are writing. Offer incentives to the readers for example; a discount, or special bonuses for purchasing the next volume of your book.
Organizing Your Ebook
Organizing your ebook is not as difficult as you may think. If you can write a grocery list, than organizing an ebook will be simple.
1. Start out with writing on paper or computer 1- 10. Write the topic you want to cover next to each digit on your paper. You now have outlined your chapters
2. Write capital A, B, C, under each topic (Chapter). These will be your chapter sub headings.
3. Below the capital letters (subheading) write lower case letters a b c. By writing a, b, c, you now can write one or two keywords or phrases to be anchors to remember what information you will put in you subheadings. You are now ready to write your book.
When you use this format on paper or computer, and you read the text laid out in an organized manor, your mind will automatically want to fill in the gaps. The human brain just will not tolerate gaps in anything. Your thoughts will compel you to finish the job. By using this technique you will accomplish an amazing amount of work. After all your hard work how will you tell the world about your ebook?
ADVERTISING METHODS
1. Articles
You can write articles to brand your work in the minds of readers. Write your articles relevant to the topic of your book, but don’t give away the farm. The articles are also making quality content for your website. Remember search engines love quality content.
2. Blogs/RSS
Blogging is another way to create content for your website, and by using RSS, you can easily distribute your content. Most don't understand what RSS really is, or how it can most effectively be used to drive traffic to their sites. Basically, RSS is a form of code that's very search engine friendly. With RSS feeds, which you can add to your website or
blog, you can create content that updates itself. Because of this self-updating, the search engines will spider your site more often, raising your rankings. But, the primary reason is you are reaching a larger, and more specific audience. Blogs and RSS readers are choosing the content they wish to read. Always remember your target audience is attempting to answer their questions.
3. Search Engine Optimization
Optimizing your site for the search engines means creating keyword rich content, exchanging links with other sites, submitting your site to directories, which create back links pointing to your site.
5. Distribute a Free Chapter to Your Readers
One of the best ways to advertise is give away a free chapter of your ebook away. Place links in the book where your readers can purchase your ebook. Giving away chapter one is the best because you are telling the reader what they are going to learn; but not in any detail. The readers grow hungry for more information and want to buy.
Make It Viral
If you make your ebook brandable, which means others can place their links, and affiiate id inside your ebook, your ebook becomes viral. You give others an incentive to share your ebook and spread it across the internet. Once you implement these content strategies on your site, add streams of revenue to your site like Adsense and Virtual Portals. These sites will allow you to monetize your site.
Conclusion
Don’t be afraid of writing ebooks it is a great way to build your expertise and credibility with the internet community. You also will bring a lot of customers to your website. Implement these strategies and you will be successful. Remember, your reputation depends on the quality of the product you produce.

A Helping Hand to Online Success - the eBook
If, like me, you’ve tried – and failed – in the past to achieve success online with internet marketing, then rest assured that help is finally at hand. I certainly wish I had had access to such knowledge when I started out three years ago, and perhaps I wouldn’t have been so overwhelmed with the practicalities of website design, using autoresponders, joining affiliate programs, writing sales letters, and how to get traffic to my site. I know better now, but more of this in a moment. . . .
The simple fact of the matter is, that to enter the world of internet marketing, you need something to promote and sell (well you want to make money at it don’t you?), whether a physical item, or – information. The very nature of the internet – where knowledge can be shared and exchanged at the click of a button – lends itself perfectly to . . . the eBook!
The advantages of the eBook over selling physical items is that there is no need to buy or store stock, no time and effort incurred in packing anything up and shipping it off in the post – and your customer can pay their money for your product and get immediate access to it from a download page. In an age where demand is for instant gratification, an eBook is ideal – easy and effective! And once written, you can sell unlimited copies of it without having to produce each item – so it’s both time and cost-effective too.
When thinking of a subject to write about for your eBook, the secret to greater success, and finding your ‘niche market’, is very simple. Like they tell all first-time budding authors – write about what you know. Whether it’s a few chapters on ‘How to Stop Smoking’ (if you’ve been successful at this), on the mechanics of owning a motorcycle, how to earn money online, or even ‘Tips on Flower Arranging’, you can bet that someone out there in ‘cyberspace’ wants to know about it. If the subject of your eBook is also your hobby, so much the better. If you’ve got passion for your subject, you’re going to convey that enthusiasm in what you write, and make that eBook even more interesting and useful.
Of course, if you have knowledge or practical experience on a popular subject in which there is a large potential market to sell your eBook, perhaps health and fitness, or food and drink, you could be more likely of success, but remember you’ll also be competing with many others. So choose your subject carefully!
However, in writing your eBook, don’t forget to give your customer value – and they could become customers for your future eBooks too! Make the content and quality of your eBook meaningful – whatever its length, it has to be good, or you’ll leave your customers feeling disenchanted. Give away a few free bonuses – an extra report perhaps, or some free training that they would have to pay for elsewhere. Aim for customer satisfaction!
If you don’t know how to go about creating an eBook (you could always write an eBook explaining how to do it!), then it brings me to the ‘more of this in a moment . . .’ that I mentioned above – the launch of a FREE course in all aspects of internet marketing, including creating eBooks. Visit the website below for what you need to get started online. Good luck!

eBook Profits
Why should anyone give a sample chapter or mini-version of their book for free? The main reason - usually to sell or make money - isn’t always accomplished at the front end of the marketing process, it often comes later, and brings profits way beyond your best expectations.
Here’s how and why to use the sample chapter technique to generate leads for your info product.
* To test your idea for a new information product before spending days, weeks, months creating something nobody wants to buy. If few people request the freebie, your product is almost certainly a no-goer, similarly if the freebie is popular but results in few or no paid-for orders.
* The sample chapter can be a selling tool not only for its own full length paid-for version, but for other products too, where for example a list or catalogue of additional products is included with the giveaway item. For instance, the first chapter of ‘The Way to a Man’s Heart: Cooking with Known Aphrodisiacs’ might generate interest in the paid-for version of the book and might additionally direct readers to web sites offering related info products, such as ‘1001 Ways to Be Romantic’, ‘How to Find the Man of Your Dreams’, and so on. It pays to be careful, however, when including links for other people’s products, and ensure they do not detract from the real reason the sample chapter was given, namely to sell that cookery book. As for all things in mail order, direct mail, online marketing, you must test response to all your promotions.
* The first chapter can represent a ‘suck it and see’ guarantee to a product delivered in installments, such as correspondence courses, resell rights packages, and so on. If Chapter One or Module One isn’t as expected, readers can cancel their post-dated standing order or request a refund of money already paid.
* Sample chapters can be articles you’ve written for payment elsewhere, where copyright is yours, and the article or series of articles is expanded to book or course format. A popular article is its own proof of a likely best selling book and you’ve probably completed most of the research already, and been paid for it.
* You could give the sample chapter with the full version of the product which is password protected. Readers who enjoy the test version and decide to go full length simply give credit card details through such as ClickBank and move to a ‘Thank You page’ which provides the password for the full book already in their possession. (Knowing the full length book is sitting there, tying up space on their desktop, just screaming out to be opened and read, is all the incentive most people need to get that password fast!)
* You could write an article based on your full length info product, but leave the reader dangling somewhere between casting the article to one side and buying your book.
Ways to do this:
- Leave questions in your article which are answered in the full length title. Make readers curious, give cryptic clues, leave the most vital information for Part Two – the paid-for product!
- Offer articles to editors and publishers of print and online publications and end with questions that are answered at your web site where readers can buy books related to the subject of the article.
- Get readers to subscribe to your eZine where you’ll answer those niggling
questions and in autoresponder follow ups you’ll promote your main book to the very limit of temptation!
* The free sample gives credibility in you and your writing ability. People know the book has - probably - already been written, and is of similar quality to what they’ve already sampled. If they have money and they like your work, they’ll buy. Probably!
* The sample chapter can include a contents listing for the full length version, where readers can check length (yes some people still believe quantity outshines quality) and you can induce sales with tempting chapter titles and snippets. It’s a good idea to give the page numbers on which certain highlighted features occur, especially where pages run into triple figures (again, never mind the quality, feel the width), and chapter headings are themselves deliciously vague. Like this:
“Here’s a sneak preview of ‘1001 Easy Ways to Get Rich Overnight!’
- How to live in a luxury home without having a mortgage and never having to pay a penny rent (Chapter Twenty Four, Page 201)
- The four letter word that gets you everything you want out of life, and more! (Chapter Twenty Five, Page 273)
- How to get a brand new car and drive it away without having to pay! (Chapter Twenty Six, Page 307)
- Four words that guarantee you free travel for the rest of your life! (Chapter Twenty Nine, Page 406)”
* People will retain your sample chapter far longer than they will normally keep a sales letter, especially of the printed variety or on a web site with a domain name they’ll soon forget. So although the majority of people will buy the full length product quite soon after receiving the freebie, you might still get a steady trickle of sales later when busy people find time to read your sample chapter.
Never forget the most common reason of all is to tempt readers of the free infoproduct to click on the link on the very last page where they find your order form and BUY YOUR BOOK!

A Guide To eBook Compilers
E-ditor
This software has a demo version that you can download to try out before purchasing. You can't actually use the demo to create an eBook, but you can run the software and test it out thoroughly to see if it does what you need it to do for your particular eBook.
This eBook compiler is one of the easiest to use. The software has a very user-friendly help menu that provides instructions for and explanations of every field on every screen. The program also includes video tutorials demonstrating every step of this compiler with clear explanations of all fields that need to be filled out. There are 7 screens that you use to choose your eBook options.
This compiler requires your files to be in HTML format. You follow simple directions, and the compiler loads your files. If you decide to edit your eBook after it has been compiled, make any changes in your original files and click on "Compile you eBook" and your changes will appear in your compiled eBook.
E-editor allows for some customization of your eBook. You can create a special page that appears when the eBook is opened; create customized icons that appear on the desktop after downloading; use your own logo on the task bar of your eBook; customize the task bar's buttons, where the task bar appears in your eBook, and choose the task bar's colours. Additionally, you can choose to have the eBook open to the last page read, which many of your buyers will appreciate.
An excellent and unique feature of E-ditor is the capability to choose a standard Microsoft window or to create your own design for a window to personalize your eBook. The program provides some sample window designs, but you can use any .bmp (bit map skin) graphic you have stored on your hard drive.
E-ditor is a good choice if you are new at producing eBooks because it is easy to use and allows you to customize the appearance of your eBook.
* Desktop Author
This compiler does not require a browser, nor do you have to download software or plug-ins. The program converts exe. files into pages that look like a standard book. You can create and produce eBook pages scaled to fit on your computer screen without any scrolling. Additional features include WYSIWGY (what you see is what you get) page editing and creation, the ability to manipulate internal images, cut and paste functions, hotlinks to pages, email, website, or other files. It is an excellent compiler to use for a marketing tool, such as creating brochures and manuals in addition to eBooks.
* EBook Edit Pro
This compiler provides a demo version, which allows you to test out its features. The software uses a Wizard that leads you step-by-step through the set-up and creation of your eBook. Customization includes text editing that appears on the pop-up starting message window; the ability to allow or prevent resizing of your book and the mouse-click pop-up menu; enabling or disabling the navigation bar and choosing the buttons you want to appear; and customizing the eBook's desktop icon and the logo that appears on the navigation bar.
Ebook Edit Pro is loaded with excellent features that allow you to create multi-media Ebooks, and includes a Wizard that is customized for beginners and for advanced users. The software uses HTML files, downloading them from the directory where they are saved. Edit and resave your files in the original software used to create those files, and then with a single click you can re-compile your Ebook.
Features include customization of icons, toolbars, and the "about box." This compiler has a particularly useful feature called the Re-brander feature. This permits you to enter customized code into your Ebook pages and distribute the Re-brander software to your affiliates or distributors. They can then customize the links included in the Ebook, but they can not alter any link or information that you have not
entered a customized code for.
The software includes "eBrand-It" software that allows custom fields for your customer's name, affiliate ID or URL. This feature is a powerful marketing tool because affiliates are much happier giving away your Ebook from their own site when they can customize it.
* Ebook Compiler
This compiler offers a demo version that allows you to compile 10 files. If you don't include graphics, you can create a 10 page Ebook that allows printing and copying of the Ebook. The catch is that you can't sell any Ebook you create in the demo version.
The purchased software is user-friendly with easy-to-follow help files that not only guide you through the steps of compiling your Ebook, but also explains what an Ebook compiler does. The software provides detailed instructions on how to create source files from Microsoft Word 2000 and 1997, PowerPoint 2000 and 1997, and HTML documents. It contains less detailed instructions for creating source files from
other programs.
This compiler allows for password protection of your entire Ebook or for selected pages. Additionally, you can set a time limit on your Ebook. When the runs out, the customer no longer has access unless they pay for it. In other words, it allows you to create a demo version of your Ebook for marketing purposes.
You can set a single password or multiple passwords. Using multiple passwords assigns each user their own specific password. Online help files guide you through setting up your passwords. You can also create a Sales and Thank-you page for selling a password protected Ebook. This is a good choice for the novice, particularly since it includes basic features for password protection and distribution.
* Activ Ebook Compiler
This is an easy to use compiler that provides excellent features. This software can support HTML, JPEG, GIF, and all active plug-ins. Features includes password protection, branding, internet linking, icon customization, assigning unique serial numbers, splash screen, file compression, and start-up messages. It also provides free lifetime upgrades. Additionally, it includes a pre-processor, re-brander, active script, and detailed instructions for using HTML, Power Point, and Microsoft Word files.
There are several other excellent Ebook compilers on the market that are worth looking into.
Ebook Generator features splash screens, password protection, branding, icon customization, and compression control. Additionally, it includes virus prevention that alerts the user to any modifications made to your Ebook and offers usage statistics so you can track your Ebook's use. With all these advanced features, this is an excellent compiler for the beginner because it is exceptionally easy to run.
Ebook Creator is another excellent compiler, supporting HTML, JPEG, GIF, and PNG graphics, and JavaScript, VB script, and Java applets. It also supports all Internet Explorer plug-ins. Standard features include unique serial numbers, direct linking to a form or a page on your website, disabled right clicking, and search functions. The software allows for expiration after a set number of days or usages, which allows you to create demo versions. You can create up to 1000 different passwords; every time the Ebook is downloaded, a unique password is required to access protected pages. The software provides user-friendly menus and buttons that allow the beginner to the advanced user to easily create their Ebook.
Obviously, there are some excellent compilers out there. So figure out EVERYTHING you need in terms of features, and then compare prices and options. Do take advantage of demo versions if they are offered before purchasing. And then, have fun creating your Ebook!
